Is Sqetch also a manufacturer/supplier?

No, Sqetch is a B2B matchmaking platform to connect brands with manufacturers and suppliers. For that reason,  it does not offer any sort of manufacturing services.

Our job is to find the best match between brands and manufacturers,  creating strong and efficient partnerships – this means we have a robust network of manufacturers and suppliers that can meet your needs. 

Why should I use Sqetch?

  • Finding a manufacturer is complicated. Sqetch makes the process easy and intuitive. We fill in the missing link to easily connect with verified manufacturers from all over Europe and beyond. We support brands with the necessary tools to find the perfect match and fulfil their expectations. Hereby we lower the barriers of entry for manufacturing and make production accessible for everyone.

How do I create an account?

It only takes you few clicks to create an account:

How do I update my Profile?

You can update any information on your profile in a heartbeat.

  • Just log in on our home page with your email and password, and on the left side, look for the icon named “profile“.
  • To make any changes, you just need to click on the “pencil” icon next to each category title and insert the new desired information.

What is a project?

Project is the process from idea to production, that brands will take in order to find the ideal partner. In our platform, this process is divided into 5 easy-to-understand steps to make manufacturing as accessible as possible, and help you find the best match.

How do I create a project?

Only brands are able to create a project.

  • The first step is to use the search engine on our main page, and type what kind of product you are looking for (eg. jeans). 
  •  To complete your search,  fill out the required filter “product type” to select the category according to your needs (eg. childrenswear, swimwear). 
  • After you add all the required information, you can create a project. 
  • Subsequently,  our system will provide a list of possible manufacturers for a perfect match.

What is the matchmaking process?

  • After the project is sent, the platform provides a list of suitable manufacturers.
  • Each manufacturer will specify their conditions such as price and minimum order.
  • After selecting the manufacturers of your interest, you can use the Sqetch platform, to send requests/inquiries, directly with them.
  • Through the information and terms given by the manufacturers, you can make the final decision.
  • The parties are responsible for the terms of condition and contract – when both agree on starting a partnership, it’s time to move forward with the production process.

Something went wrong with the project, what should I do now?

If you experience any issue that is not related to the platform, it is important that you contact directly the brand or manufacturer to resolve the problem as soon as possible. 

Our users are always encouraged to provide complete profiles and act with desirable professionalism. However,  Sqetch is a B2B matchmaking platform and does not take any responsibility for the actions of our members.

Can I share a project on Sqetch?

High-security standards protect all your intellectual property. In case you upload a project, it will remain completely private unless you decide otherwise. You can easily manage your project by deciding who has access to it.

Where can I go to learn more about clothing production?

  • Our Magazine is a great learning source, that also keeps you in the loop with the coolest trends, events, and news of the fashion world. 
  • For educational purposes, we offer, through the Sqetch Agency,  a rich variety of e-learning tools, that help brands to boost and optimize their business.

What is the Bulletin Board and what can I use it for?

Brands and manufacturers can use the bulletin board to post inquiries and offers to be matched with the right partners, simplifying the sourcing process! The Bulletin Board increases your visibility and generates smoother communication and negotiation.

How can I change or reset my password?

To change your password, you will need to reset it. The process is very simple:

  • In the login area on our homepage, you can click on “Forgot Password“.
  • Use the same email you used for creating your Sqetch account, so you can receive a link to reset the password.

How to use Tags?

Both manufacturers and brands are able to create tags while setting up their profiles.

Tags are useful to search for companies through keywords (eg. type of material, fabrics or clothing). If you are a manufacturer that produces denim, you can use the tag “denim”, so brands who are looking to sell denim clothes can find you more simply.

To sign up and start using the Sqetch platform is completely free of costs. Free Members can try out our services and increase their online visibility.

Do I need and account?

You can use Sqetch without an account. Simply start to browse our database of manufacturers and discover all services provided by the Sqetch platform and Agency services.

However, in order to get in touch with manufacturers & suppliers, set up a profile and ask for a quote, it is necessary to create an account – so companies are able to reply to your requests and contact you.

How do I ask for a quote?

  • The first step is to use the search engine on our main page and the filter “product type” to select the right category according to your needs. After you add all the necessary information and details, you can create a project, that our system will make sure you get the best alternatives.
  • With that, you can contact the manufacturers that best meet your needs. To get a quote, our platform will ask you to provide extra information of your project (eg. pictures, quantity) and will forward the request to manufacturers.
  • The manufacturers will analyze your request and get back to you with the quotation details.

What are my responsibilities as a brand?

Although Sqetch offers a great way to connect with apparel manufacturers, brands must take into account that choosing a specific manufacturer is their own responsibility. Therefore Sqetch highly recommends brands to do due diligence. For example:

  • Visit a clothing manufacturer or supplier before booking an order.
  • Check references of clothing manufacturers and suppliers before you start to work together.
  • Ask if they have experience with your product(s) or similar type of brands.
  • Confirm all terms of contract, make sure all costs and responsibilities are clearly set out.

How do I know which manufacturer is the right one for me?

  • Depending on the product you would like to create, it’s important to go through the manufacturers’ profiles suggested on the platform, to decide the ones that best meet your needs. 
  • Give preference for Sqetch trusted partners (e.g. Gold, Silver, or Bronze members). Generally, they rank higher in the platform’s algorithm – so the first companies you see are manufacturers that many fashion brands have successfully cooperated with in the past through our platform!

Please keep in mind that it is essential to check references, professionalism and consult their work through external tools such as websites, social media and brochures.

A manufacturer is any supplier, producer or service company of fashion or clothing related products that add something to the supply chain. Manufacturers, suppliers and service providers can be listed on Sqetch to get access to brands from all over the world.

Do I need an account?

However, if you want to create a profile, be seen in the searching list by brands and receive requests, it is required to create an account.

How can I stand out as a manufacturer?

At first, a good alternative is to become a trusted partner, through Gold, Silver, or Bronze memberships, as they usually rank higher in the platform’s list. Moreover, manufacturers should pay attention to the following common mistakes:

  • Information is not clear or not complete
  • The profile is empty or doesn’t look professional
  • The response time is too long

It’s essential that manufacturers understand that the more professional and clear their profile is, the bigger chances they have to draw attention from the brands. Learn from the common questions of your customers, and always keep your profile complete and up-to-date.

Can Manufacturers search for brands?

  • Due to the matchmaking process of the platform, as a manufacturer, you are not able to look for brands. 
  • However, as an alternative,  manufacturers can use the Bulletin Board to post inquiries and offers to be matched with the right partners, simplifying the sourcing process!

Pricing & Billing

What is a subscription?

A subscription is a paid membership plan that will enable you to have access to premium features. It is a great way to help you find the right partner, saving money and time. 

  • For brands, they are designed to offer additional services to cover all your business needs. Equip your brand with all the tools for success. Unlock all of our features to get access to project requests, professional assistance, discounts on e-learning resources, and more!
  • For manufacturers, they are designed to offer the best coverage to apparel manufacturers digital needs – also support companies to rank higher on the search lists and stand out against competitors.

How do I know what is the right subscription plan for me?

On our main page, you can find a detailed comparison (eg. price, features, advantages) of each subscription plan.

Can I pay my membership monthly?

Our platform only accepts annual billing payments, which means that you purchase only once and the membership is valid for the next 12 months.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

You can upgrade your membership whenever you like right on your dashboard. You just need to log into your account, open the dashboard, and check the upgrade options. 

The downgrade is not possible, as our memberships are on an annual payment basis.  However, members can get a refund within the first 30 days after the purchase, otherwise, the membership will run until the end of the billing period. 

How can I cancel my subscription?

Log in to your account and go to “Billing” to cancel your subscription.

When you cancel your subscription, it will continue to run until it expires, however, it will not be renewed when your subscription ends. Just make sure that you cancel your payments at least two (2) weeks before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
