The fashion and textile industry is one of the most polluting and resource intensive industries worldwide. The importance of sustainability and innovation seems to be increasing while its implementation is left out. Sqetch wants to catalyze the sustainable transformation of the textile and fashion industry. To help brands, manufacturers and service providers, our community and event management intern Anne-Sophie Hoffmann took a close look at the current industry and interviewed different stakeholders and experts in order to identify the source of the industry-wide resistance to eco-innovation. Subsequently, it was examined how this perceived resistance to change can be dealt with and ultimately overcome. The COVID-19 pandemic has shattered the entire industry and gives companies now the opportunity to transform their operations making sustainable and innovative change happen. Change now to stay competitive and have a look at the findings of the research and the personalized change model that we created for you to simplify not only your sourcing process but also help your company realize sustainable transformation.
