Become part of the creative Cooperation Network Berlin & China (CN-BC) and join our first digital meet-up!

We are excited to announce the start of our newest internationalisation project “Innovations for a Global Market – Cooperation Network Berlin & China (CN-BC)”, which runs from June 1st, 2020 until August 31st, 2022 in partnership with the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ).

CN-BC supports new business partnerships between Berlin and China in the green tech, UX and design industries. Through a series of events and meetups, both real and virtual, the project offers entry points into the German and Chinese markets with legal, trade and intercultural support for businesses, industry experts and local organisations. An online community platform serves to initiate and develop relationships, to identify and realise synergies; while digital tools for video-conferences and workshops will be explored to reach a wider audience and promote green business practices at a time of global travel restrictions and climate change. CN-BC is federally funded through the Berlin based funding program for network-building and internationalization “Förderprogramm für Internationalisierung – Netzwerk Richtlinie”, co-funded by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund).

The digital platform will remain online, enabling participants to maintain contact beyond the project duration, to encourage sustainable partnerships and strengthen German-Chinese economic relations.

Save the date: “Go to China” digital Meet-up #1

We would like to warmly invite all of our Berlin-based companies to the first digital meet-up of our “Go to China” Meet-up series, which will take place on October 14th, 2020 at 5:30-7:00 p.m.

In the virtual meet-up, we’ll be introducing the project and two of our CN-BC network partners: Sabine Yang-Schmidt from the Berlin Government, Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises “Business Liaison Desk China” as well as China expert Jörg Höhn from JHC – Joerg Hoehn Consulting. Together we will discuss the opportunities and challenges for Berlin companies in the Chinese market.

HERE you can register for the digital meet-up. We look forward to having a direct exchange of thoughts with you!
